Development of the Judicial Studies Institutes in the Arab World

Training Judicial institutes play a pivotal and instrumental role in the development of the judiciary. Its main role revolves in the qualification, continuous education and training of the judiciary members.

The all over purpose of the project is to Building judicial cooperation bridges between Arab Judicial Institutes to support and improve the exchange of the scientific and technical knowledge.

The project includes the following activities:
1 – Organization a two days regional conference/workshop in Beirut where as a number of Arab Judicial Institutes as well as European Judicial Institutes convene to discuss the different experiences and the ways to modernize the curriculums adopting new technological and scientific means.

2- Formulation of conclusions and writing a synthesis in three languages: Arabic, French and English and disseminating it.

Duration: Four Months project – June to September 2018.

This project is funded by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

    On 27 and 28 of September 2018, a conference for Arab and European Judicial Studies, was held in Beirut – Lebanon. The conference / workshop aimed to be as a platform to exchange experiences and to provide an opportunity to adopt modern methods in developing trainee judges by benefiting from the best European practices.
