On April 30, 2016 LFPCP organized a one-day town hall meeting at the International Center for Human Sciences in Byblos where up to 30 young individuals took part in the discussion and planning of ways to increase youth participation in the 2016 Municipal Elections.
The town-hall meeting was divided into two parts as well:
- Part I: A training session on the role of the municipalities, how to vote, the process of elections. During the first part of the town hall meeting, participants shared their thoughts on the elections and discussed the reasons behind the importance of voting.
- Part II: A working group aimed at developing an action plan to lead fellow young adults to vote in the municipal elections.
