On the 22nd of April 2016, the Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace - LFPCP has organized a visit for the 70 activists from Tripoli and Tyr Youth groups, involved in this project, to the parliament. The visit aimed at making the young generation more familiar with the legislative process. For that purpose, LFPCP added to the schedule of the visit a session concerning the Parliament History and Protocols, held by Mr. Simon Mouawad; followed by a discussion session with three MPs: MP Alain Aoun, MP Jamal el Jarah and MP Yassin Jaber. During the debate, the activists have raised several national issues: unemployment, youth quotas and participation in national and local elections, orientation for high school graduates, the armed conflicts and many others. At the end of the meetings, the participants received a certificate of participation in the project activities signed by LFPCP.
