On Saturday may 7, 2016 LFPCP organized an open day event at the old Souk in Byblos distributing more than 1,000 flyers to people, talking one-on-one to passers and filling a survey. LFPCP surveyed around 400 people at Byblos. The survey consisted of 3 questions:
1- Are you going to vote? If no, why?
2- What affects your voting decision?
3- Are you aware of the municipal candidates at your town?
The aim of the open day event was to increase awareness on the importance of voting at the spring 2016 municipal elections.
